Youth Weekend
Directed lighting for a weekend youth retreat, implementing and operating a complete lighting system while adapting to a new venue and dynamic programming needs.

Programming
I built a Vista showfile from scratch and programmed and visuals to support a wide range of moments throughout the weekend.
This included high-energy hype songs, exciting game segments, and intentional worship environments.
I was responsible for executing all lighting elements, coordinating with the producer to align visuals and creative direction.
Adaptability
Working in a new venue, I troubleshot and integrated with the existing house systems, including lighting control and networking.
When my planned node setup was incompatible, I quickly adapted by rerouting DMX directly and using the venue’s infrastructure.
These adjustments ensured the system remained reliable despite unexpected challenges.

Beyond programming and operation, I stepped in to lead load-out with a team of volunteers, many of whom had little technical experience. I guided them through tearing down lighting and an LED wall, ensuring everything was handled safely and efficiently. This project reflects my ability to adapt under pressure while leading others to execute well.
